Access Information
Please note that there is a pathway providing access to The Chiropractic Cabin, Lightwater to the side of a residential property and there are safe and secure steps leading down to the garden where the practice is located. Due to the nature of the property this may present challenges for clients with limited mobility.
The practice does not have any toilet facilities.
If you have any concerns or specific accessibility needs, please do not hesitate to contact us in advance so we can discuss how to best accommodate you.
There is no waiting room at The Chiropractic Cabin, Lightwater. Please ring the doorbell when you arrive and wait outside the property to be collected by your Chiropractor for your appointment.
There is space for one car on the driveway or you can park on the pavement outside the property if the driveway is already occupied. Please be mindful the practice is on a residential road and consider our neighbours.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept various payment methods, including credit/debit cards and cash payments.
Pricing
Initial Consultations £60, up to one hour in duration.
Follow Up Appointments £40, up to 30 minutes in duration.
Under 18’s 10% discount.
Blue Light & Armed Forces 15% discount. (Please note that valid ID or Warrant Card must be provided for proof).
We welcome payment by cash or card.
Payment for all appointments is due before or on completion of each appointment.
No pre-payment plans are in place at The Chiropractic Cabin, Lightwater.
Refunds
Refund requests should be in writing to the Principle Chiropractor, Carissa Hemphill at: contact@chiropracticcabin.co.uk
Full refunds are issued for cancellations if payment is taken before the appointment, except for the 24 hour window before an appointment.

Refunds do not cover completed appointment sessions.
What to wear & Chaperones:
Wearing clothing that allows easy movement and comfort whilst refraining from wearing bulky items of clothing is requested. We also request you wear suitable underwear before appointments.
It is not necessary to fully undress for appointments but should the need arise to be able to fully assess or treat an area covered by clothing then this will be discussed and consent gained. In these cases we offer short sleeved surgical type gowns to protect your modesty and offer comfort.
We aim to maintain a respectful, safe and comfortable environment for all patients. We acknowledge and support having a trusted individual accompany patients during their appointments. For our records we will document their name and connection to you.
Booking, Cancellation & Late Arrivals:

We are passionate about improving your health and well-being, but we are also a small business with overheads to cover. To ensure we can continue to provide the best care, we have a simple and clear cancellation policy:
24 Hour Notice: If you need to cancel or rearrange an appointment, we kindly ask for at least 24 hours notice.
Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice, or failure to attend, will result in 50% of the appointment fee being charged.
As required by the General Chiropractic Council, all new patients are required to attend an Initial Assessment to help us understand and address your unique needs.
Late arrival: If you arrive late, we will do our best to accommodate you within our schedule, but this may not always be possible. If you are more than 15 minutes late we may need to reschedule your appointment to ensure we can provide the best care for all our patients.

15 Minute Promise:
We respect your time. That is why in the unforeseen and unlikely event we are delayed by over 15 minutes for your scheduled appointment time, your session will be on us, no charge at all!
Please note this only applies to your scheduled appointment time. If you arrive early, we will do our best to start your appointment promptly and within the limits of our schedule.
Private Healthcare:
The Chiropractic Cabin, Lightwater does not deal directly with insurance providers. If you wish to claim from your insurance provider for any treatment received at The Chiropractic Cabin, Lightwater, we advise you to check your policy details before any appointment commences with us.
We can provide detailed invoices for all appointments which you can submit to your insurance provider.
Please kindly note that payment is required either before or on completion of each appointment.
